Myerscough College
Since opening in 2008 we have built a strong relationship with Mysersocugh College and the Student’s Union with our aim being to provide more than just a taxi service to the students.
We are keen to play our part in ensuring the wellbeing of the students and created our ‘Homesafe’ scheme in partnership with the college.
‘Homesafe’ enables students, or their parents, to open a password protected account that allows them to book a taxi when they find themselves in a situation without money and travel home safely.
Our experienced operators are also on hand to offer advice to the customer should the be in an unfamiliar location or distressed at their situation.
If their need is deemed as urgent, priority is given and a driver is dispatched immediately to assist.
GCL take part in Myerscough College’s annual Student Wellbeing Seminar alongside Lancashire Police Authority, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Services, NHS Direct and many other exhibitors with a commitment to community welfare.
