Terms & Conditions

• Participants must be over 16 years of age.
  
• No Purchase is necessary.
  
• Entry to the draw is by means of a uniquely numbered GCL Taxi business card.
  
• GCL Taxi business cards will be hand delivered to each household in the area. Anyone who does not receive a card may obtain one from any GCL driver or the company’s office.
  
• The winning number will be drawn weekly at random by an independent person.

Draws will take place on the Monday of every week. For avoidance of doubt this will be the day that the seven day claim period commences. This will also be the cut off point for the previous seven day qualifying period. Any seven day period mentioned in these T&C’s will deem to commence at 00:01 on the Monday and end at 23:59 the following Sunday.

• Participants in the draw give permission for their details to be used for promotional purposes
  
• Details of where and who made the draw will be published in the Garstang Courier and at www.gcltaxi.co.uk


How to claim:

• The holder of the winning card must contact GCL on 01995 607777 or 01253 420000 within seven days of the draw to register a claim. Claims after seven days from the date of the draw will be invalid.
  
• Claims will only be paid upon the production of the winning card.
  
• Non-customers of GCL Taxis will receive £20.00 when the winning card is produced. Arrangements for presenting the winning card should be made at the time of claiming the prize.
  
• Customers of GCL must appear on the GCL data-base. To do this they must have previously booked and completed a taxi journey with GCL booked using their home telephone number or their mobile number which should be registered to them.*
  
• Customers claiming the £40.00 prize must call using the telephone number used for making the booking, or one of the bookings as outlined above. If they appear on the database this confirms their status as “Customer of GCL” and arrangements for presentation of the winning card and collection of prize should then be made.
  
• For customers making a claim for the £100.00 prize the same procedure as outlined above should be followed. When status as “Customer of GCL” is established the database will be checked to verify the last journey. If this falls within the previous seven day period as outlined above i.e. the seven days period preceding the draw, then this qualifies for the top prize. Arrangements for production of the winning card and collection of prize should then be made.

 *Customers who have booked a taxi using a free phone or had a 3rd party make the booking on their behalf, must be able to quote the journey details, which are: Pick up place, date and time. Name of passenger and destination.
